Before people start expecting that the campaign or game world will be explicitly similar to Skyrim or Mass Effect 3, the developers claim that the split may have as much to do with Assassin’s Creed 3’s multiplayer as its singleplayer. On Facebook, Ubisoft seemingly slipped up by posting a message revealing the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, with a link to ‘Like’ their page in order to unlock an exclusive sneak peak. It turns out that the patch on Xbox One, the fourth major one since Unity’s release, is re-downloading the entire 40 GB game instead of just the 6.7 GB patch. Gamers who were likely already disappointed with Unity now have yet another reason to be upset with Ubisoft. Ubisoft wrote on the official Assassin’s Creed site that the company is working on a solution to the problem with Microsoft but that there is no time frame for when the error will be resolved....
