That’s what Square Enix was trying to do with Army Corps of Hell, their first developmental effort for the PlayStation Vita. Army Corps isn’t all Pikmin, and it isn’t all Overlord (the other Pikmin clone to release in the past couple of years), it’s a combination of the two....

BTS has been nominated for their song “Boy With Luv” featuring the singer-songwriter Halsey. The group joins a string of other pop star nominees including K-pop girl band Blackpink (nominated for their song “Kill This Love”), Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber (for “I Don’t Care”), Taylor Swift (for “ME!”) as well as Ariana Grande (for “7 Rings”). BTS fans—collectively known as the Army—are also nominated in the Best Fan Army category, going up against the equally passionate fan bases of the aforementioned artists....

Monday is Festivus, so the mascot fight champion will be determined by the Feats of Strength — pinning the opponent. These Feats of Strength will be performed one at a time, with the order determined by the 2013 standings. So, the Astros’ mascot takes on the Marlins’ mascot first, with the winner getting the White Sox’s mascot, and so on, all the way up to the Cardinals’ mascot at the end....

Who doesn’t love a good tower defense game? Ubisoft knows the answer and has decided to include a tower defense inspired gameplay segment in Assassin’s Creed: Revelations and is showing it off in a brand new trailer. While not billed as a tower defense mechanic (it’s more of a tactical resource deployment mechanic) the objective remains the same. Use Assassin resources to hold off waves of incoming Templar warriors who are trying to invade your…den....

Prior to the unveiling of Assassin’s Creed 4, and Edward Kenway as its protagonist, there was some speculation that the next AC game might feature a female assassin as its protagonist. After Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation broke the mold with Aveline, most fans figured it was only a matter of time before a female took on a more prominent role. However, according Assassin’s Creed 4 director Ashraf Ismail, that was never in the cards....

While the Ancestors Character Pack – which releases next week – is merely a set of four new characters for players to embody during their play session, GameStop has outed a new pack that is a bit more enticing. Dubbed the Mediterranean Traveler Map Pack this DLC offering, as one would expect, features a handful of maps that are found along the Mediterranean. Among those maps are the lands of Siena, Jerusalem, Dyers, San Donato, Firenze, and the Imperial District of Constantinople....

To those that bought the game at launch and were unable to fully enjoy the game, this can only be seen as good news. Or more good news since Unity players are also getting free games and DLC. Fortunately, the wait for patch 4 won’t be a long one, as Ubisoft revealed on its Live Updates community page that the patch is set to release on December 15 for all platforms....

According to The Oklahoman, Daniel Hedrick, Joseph “Joey” Mitchell and John Basco filed a civil lawsuit in Oklahoma City federal court on Tuesday against Oklahoma County commissioners, Sheriff Tommie Johnson III, the jail trust and two former jailers. The four men allege that the tactics used by the above-mentioned individuals were “torture events.” The fourth former jail inmate, Brandon Newell, did not join the lawsuit as he was convicted of first-degree murder a month after the “torture” incident and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole....

What time does the Apex Legends Fight Night update release? According to Respawn’s official Fight Night blog post published on Friday, the Fight Night update is expected to go live at 1 p.m. EST January 5. Initially the blog post had touted a much later 11 p.m. EST release time similar to the Season 7 update, but that was changed via an edit to the blog post early Tuesday morning. On PS4 the Fight Night update is expected to be labeled as version 1....

What are Treasure Packs and where to find them Treasure Packs can be collected during Duos, Trios, LTMs and Ranked play. They’re earned once per day, and there are a total of 45 of them for players to secure during the duration of Season 5. When you find them they don’t count towards your standard loot inventory and are instead opened after a match has finished. If you happen to miss a Treasure Pack during the season, currency can be spent to purchase the one from the previous day....

Loba: Loba has been on the minds of Apex dataminers since the early days of 2019, and it looks like she’s finally ready to make her debut. When Revenant made his surprise entrance in January, his trailer told the story of a Portuguese girl whose crime-family parents were assassinated by the hired help. The Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass was first outed by a GameStop memo last July, though at the time, the game’s DLC was shrouded in mystery. No longer. Ubisoft has announced that five DLC packs are en route to Assassin’s Creed 3 over the course of six months, headlined by The Tyranny of King Washington, an alternate history campaign that will span three downloadable episodes.
