This will no doubt be fantastic news to Ubisoft, since the early days following the game’s announcement were filled with a bit of uncertainty. Fans were expecting to not hear from Assassin’s Creed 3 for some time, and Ubisoft surprised everyone with not ust another game, but what seemed to be mor of a stand-alone title. The fans seem to have bought into the idea, but the strength of Black Ops still continues to rear its head....
However, although the beans have been appropriately spilt regarding Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Ubisoft has yet to say a thing about the last-gen title. All we really know at this point is that the game may or may not be called Assassin’s Creed: Comet. Thanks to a recent report from Kotaku (in conjunction with GameBlog), though, we may have our first hints as to Assassin’s Creed: Comet’s story, protagonist, and setting....

After having their official Assassin’s Creed 4 reveal spoiled by a leaked poster, the developer cut any potential speculation off at the pass and released a new image, gave some brief details, and unveiled a title — Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. This was a pre-emptive measure, a small tease knowing full well that a bigger unveiling was slated for Monday morning, when the gaming press at large would unleash their previews of the game....
